Our interest in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay led us to the Freestone area because of the cool climate and Goldridge soil series—conditions ideal for growing both varietals.
We are committed to sustaining the integrity of the Freestone environment in all phases of this project. Both organic and biodynamic farming methods will be utilized in the vineyards. The winery itself is located in the vineyards and built into the hillside to reduce both its volume and footprint. The design of the winery is consistent with the agricultural character of its surroundings.
In accordance with our desire at Freestone Vineyards to maintain an agricultural focus within the area, there will be no public tours or tastings at the winery. For wine tasting, and sales please visit us at our Guest Center located at the corner of Bodega Highway and Bohemian Highway in the town of Freestone.
