Wine is one of the most civilized thing in the world”, said Ernest Hemingway; but cultivating organic was a common thing in those days, as for Brandini it’s a common thing today. Respecting the land, leaving it to the young as well as the elderly have left it to us, this is the way a good wine becomes twice as good.
The Agricola Brandini estate, located in Borgata Brandini - La Morra, sits at the top of a hill from which it enjoys the most amazing view of the surrounding landscape. All the grape varieties cultivated are autochthonous and are used to produce outstanding wines: Dolcetto D’Alba, Barbera D’Alba, Langhe Rosso, Langhe Nebbiolo and Barolo.
Work to achieve excellent quality genuine wines starts in the vineyards (which occupy an area of about 9 hectares), where we employ short pruning and meticulous bunch thinning techniques, harvesting the grapes only when they are fully ripe. The production cellar is about 700 square metres in size and the transformation processes are all performed naturally.
