Riondo has its head office in the town of Monteforte d'Alpone, in the historical production area of Soave, where we make every effort to express terroir in our range of still and naturally fermented sparkling wines. Where our true passion for wine, patience, experience and dedication come together with one aim: to offer you moments of sheer pleasure.
Founded in 1999, Cantine Riondo S.p.A. is now part of the COLLIS Veneto Wine Group, a consortium founded by the Cantina di Colognola ai Colli and Cantine dei Colli Berici co-operative wineries.
Collis, with nearly 7,000 hectares of vineyard extending over the provinces of Verona and Vicenza, represents over 15% of Veneto wine production and 2% of the entire wine production of Italy.
Our mission is to build market growth for wines produced from grapes grown by more than 3,000 farms associated with the Collis Group.
Today, Riondo produces around 7 million bottles: two thirds sparkling wine, led by popularity of Prosecco Frizzante on the American market thanks to the work of Riondo USA http://www.riondousa.com/, and the remaining third divided between the DOC wines of Verona and the IGT Veneto wines. The state of the art bottling lines are able to bottle different formats, from 187 ml. to 1500 ml., plus bag-in-box.
