Located in the village of Viviers, in the Eastern part of the Chablis appellation, Domaine de Biéville was created back in the 70's by Jean-Jacques Moreau and represents today 65 ha (143 acres) all in one piece, unique in Burgundy.
The choice of this village to plant such an important domaine was motivated by its exposure to the sun (South / South West) similar to the most renowned Premiers Crus, an elevation providing a more tempered climate and its soil, made of former truffle grounds.
40 years later, and thanks to its "Vieilles Vignes", Domaine de Biéville produces exclusively Chablis wines whose balance, softness and richness in mouth are very much appreciated on the export markets.
