Quercione and Brunello have the same relationship to each other as do Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino, all of them noble scions of the Montalcino lineage.
Produced exclusively in exceptional vintages, and in limited quantities, Quercione is the maximum expression of the terroir of Campogiovanni, in particular those vines in the Il Quercione vineyard.
A meticulously-selected Brunello, then, a star performer whose repertoire includes not only notable elegance and character but an unmatched ability to enchant and excite the senses.

Twenty-five day maceration at 30°C, followed by malolactic fermentation and a 24-month maturation in 500-litre French oak tonneaux and a further 36 months in the bottle
