Aleatico Salice Salentino 2000 DOC

This wine is bright crimson in colour, developing hints of orange with maturity. The nose is pleasantly reminiscent of muscat and the medium sweet palate is broad and rich with a good backbone of acidity, a velvet texture. Delicious.

Vinification
The crushed grapes are macerated at a controlled temperature. Fermentation is interrupted by repeated racking to remove the yeasts and the wine is subsequently matured in barrels.
