Baron del Cega is a wine produced in the Valdepeñas region in Castilla-La Mancha, Spain. The wines are typically made from blends that are predominately Cencibel (Tempranillo), with smaller amounts of other regional red grapes. Because of the abundant sunshine, these are often concentrated, fruit-forward wines with a balanced acidity from the limestone soils.
